Arthur "John" Johnson Murphy Jr., age 80, of Sanford, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. 

He was born in Mavisdale, Virginia on March 15, 1944. John graduated from Osbourn High School. He was married to Mary Higgins Murphy on December 27, 1980.

He was the President and Co Founder of Harvest Time International. He had a passion for Jesus, family and serving people. He also loved music, singing, the guitar, and Western movies. He was very friendly & sociable; as people would say "knows no stranger." He was a great businessman as well.

He was survived by wife; Mary H. Murphy, Mother, Emma Gaye Murphy, Children; Ami E Staggs (Randy), April L. Murphy, Arthur J. Murphy III (Julie), Dorothy A. Murphy, Carmen M. Ting. Grandchildren; Elisabeth J Munn (Jonathan), Jeremiah M. Staggs (Hope), Steven A. Garland (Renee), Kaitlynn H Beatty (Travis), Alison G. Murphy, Brynn R. Murphy, Josiah R. Murphy, Emma H. Murphy, Pierce L. Ting, Sage A. Ting. Great Grandchildren; Rosemary, Louisa, Ezekiel & Shiloh Staggs, Jude, Everett & Graham Munn, Rylan & Jaxon Beatty, Jameson & Hudson Garland. Siblings; Martha A Eckard, David R. Murphy, Rebecca R. Dawson, Catherine E. Williams.

He was preceded in death by; Father, Arthur B. Murphy and Sister Mary Lee Murphy.

A visitation for Arthur will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Harvest Time. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 225 Harvest Time Drive, Sanford, FL 32771. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 COUNTY ROAD 46A, SANFORD, FL 32771. A reception will occur Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Harvest Time International.
